Setup OneVPN app on Mac

Note:

  • This application is compatible with Mac OS X 10.10.x or higher.
  • For older versions of Mac OS X refer to manual configuration.
  • You can choose from PPTP, L2TP, OpenVPN TCP and OpenVPN UDP protocols.
  • This app is identical to the one for Mac OS X 10.12.x (Sierra) but the only difference is “PPTP” protocol is not available as Mac OS X doesn’t offer “PPTP” protocol anymore.

Step 1. Download the application from our Downloads Page :

 

 

Step 2. Once downloaded run the application by opening it.

 

 

Step 3. Initiate the installation process.

 

 

Step 4. Now drag the OneVPN application “icon” in the applications folder to complete the installation.

 

 

Step 5. Now launch the application from the applications folder.

 

 

Step 6.  In order to begin first you will need to select the protocol and the location. Click on the highlighted portion.

 

 

Step 7. Now select the protocol as “PPTP” and choose any of your desired location.

 

 

 

Step 8. Now enter your OneVPN username and password then click “Connect”. You are now connected.

 

 

 

Step 9. If you wish to switch to a different protocol simply “disconnect” vpn and select another like “L2TP”.

 

 

 

Step 10. If you wish to use “OpenVPN TCP” as the protocol simply disconnect VPN and select it from the protocol section, select location and connect.

 

 

Step 11. For “OpenVPN UDP” simply disconnect VPN and select it from the protocol section, select location then connect vpn.
